Empty Shelves

So i'm not a very good blogger. but that doesn't bother me...honestly I think I'm the only one to ever have looked at my blog. Oh well. For me it's not about impressing people with my clothing, it's more about releasing a bit of steam and also it's a reminder of some of my favorite outfits and memories.
I doubt I will update often...my mind wanders far to much and I have been very uninspired to do anything really. Perhaps it is college life sucking my soul out, or maybe I simply get discouraged far to easily when something doesn't work quite the way I was hoping. I have alot to learn about who I am and who I want to be, it's possible that I will find myself through the blog...maybe not.
Either way, this is merely for my own personal amusement, if you feel the desire to read my thoughts, feel free. I can only hope that maybe they will be inspiring. If they are not, move along, I don't expect or desire to please everyone.

Musette

I had my end of the year piano recital yesterday.
It went ok I guess, except for the fact that i was sitting with all of the younger kids because I suck at piano ;)
Oh well, I guess that's just what happens when you don't start until you are 16!














Anyhoozle! I came home that evening and realized that I kinda forgot about my blog. I do have an excuse though seeing as it was the end of the school year and I have had about 1,000 things to do! But even still i miss the outlet that it brings.




My mom found a mirror in our neighbors thrash the other day and she saved it for me in case i wanted it.
I got home and looked at it and told her it was distorted but she didn't believe me.
After turning it around and seeing that my hips miraculously became 3 feet wide, me my mom and dad then proceeded to laugh for about 10 minutes strait. I literally had tears rolling down my cheeks.

For the first time in I don't even remember how long, the sun FINALLY came out!
It was amazing and beautiful.
Along with the sun came an inspiration to actually dress up :)
I bought this dress awhile ago from the thrift store however this is the first time I have ever worn it because I though it was a bit to long. My plan was to shorten the hem just a few inches, that never happened obviously. So instead i gathered up parts of the skirt and just safety pinned them!






We now have 4 Stunning rose bushes in our yard. even though they are still rather small, with all of the rain they have been producing Roses like crazy!
I picked a bunch for my mommy since I will be leaving soon.









I'm leaving tonight for Tennessee. I'm going to see my Beautiful sister Amy!
I'm driving over with a friend tomorrow morning and I will be leaving Monday night.
I plan on taking Lots of pictures while i'm there so expect a HUGE post when I return :)

This is actually from monday, but i finally have time to post anything about it!

The dress i got from a thrift store for like $2.50 Woot Woot!
the belt was also thrifted.

sadly it has been raining for like the past 3-4 days and as humid as virginia is even though the dress is light i was still melting from the humidity! how lame.

Strawberry Fields Forever

Its a saturday morning and I wake up to find that my lovely parents left to go yard sale-ing without me :(
Oh well they called to say they would swing by and pick me up so its all ok now.
Following the quickest shower known to mankind i rummage through my closet in an attempt to find the perfect cute, creative comfortable outfit for a day of climbing in and out of a minivan.
Hooray I found it! Though I can't claim creativity seeing as I've worn this before.
lol though my mom was a little perturbed by the(nonexistent)cleavage she said I was showing...



Experimenting with makeup. It looks alot better in real life. For example the colors I used were a shiny creme silver base,Purple on the outside top and bottom, and Green in the inside bottom.

It was a little early though so you really had to search to find the good ones hiding underneath.

Princess Party

On Wednesdays I babysit with my friend Abby for a ladies bible study group. Well since we mostly have little girls that means LOTS of dress up. Of course we can't let the girls have all the fun, so almost every week me and Abby dress up with the girls. Yesterday was especially fun!


That skirt by the way is most definitely a tree skirt...this Christmas i'm going to buy lots of pretty tree skirts just like this and wear then ALL the time!







Oh yeah and the white shrug thing was a gift from my grandpa that he found amongst other rather sketch clothes ;)

Ahh I've been on spring break for a week already and I feel like i haven't done anything...oh wait! that's because i haven't!
It's quite depressing actually, the most i've managed to do is crochet a giant owl stuffie and reread Twilight and New Moon, which was very nice...minus that reminder of how single I really am.

Regardless. It has been wonderful to have the freedom that I do have now, with only 6 more weeks of torture left!

Anyhoozle, this is an outfit that i put together the other day for going to do some errands with my lovely mother.
It was the end of the day so i'm looking a little bit rough, but whatever...




I had on really cute shoes, but of course the only picture that i liked i managed to cut off my feet ;)


This is yet another outfit from the other day, Crazy Crafter came over and we played dress up!
The top I found at the thrift store and I made the bow thing...




And last of all I thought i would show you a picture of my two latest creations. The first is the aforementioned Owl Stuffie, and the second is a painting thing that I randomly made one after noon.

So yeah, that's what been going on in my life as of late.

Hallelujah, Nice weather is finally here!! It was 80 wonderful degrees outside. When I got dresses this morning I was expecting the forecast to say that it would be 80 but in reality was probably going to be in the low 70's. Hence the sweater. Luckily it was windy enough that I didn't melt.

I went to the thrift store after school found this amazingly yellow summer dress, haha I squeeled with delight! No Joke. This will probably become my favorite summer dress.

Haha It was so windy outside today that when I was trying to take pictures my camera fell off of the deck (I really need to invest in a tripod) I went to grab it right as the picture took...I think it came out pretty interesting!

And Finally a ring that a made a few days ago. It it made out of a rock I found while on spring trip and some wire from an old school notebook. Random I know

Shwoomp!

Ahh, another spring trip has come and gone...and I must say that i'm rather glad that it has gone! ;P
It was tiring and stressful but had some fun moments even still.


To start off I figured I should show you the "Lovely" formal dresses that we were forced to wear!
Haha yeah, the were quite special.


Luckily the view from the camp that we were staying in offered tons of opportunities to take some scenic pictures...
The last day we were at camp was the first day that we had sun!Usually it was like this almost all day...


So yeah, that was the most exciting part of the whole trip pretty much! lol


Hopefully soon I will have time to post some everyday wear soooooon, but until then you should go enjoy the lovely weather if you have it...and if not you should go get some hot coffee!

It's bonSSai you idiot!!

I haven't really taken any clothing posts lately, mainly due to the fact that I have just been so stinkin' busy!

However, I am trying to get better about it. Luckily my camera is miraculously working again so that task should be tremendously easier.




So this is what I wore today. Just my stripy shirt and my old lady skirt that has super amazing pockets!! It was kinda funny because I started out just wearing jeans and a t-shirt since I only had government class so I wasn't leaving the house...it only took about 10 minutes until I rushed upstairs to rip the jeans off because they were so darn uncomfortable!! Haha

Umm yeah, due to the obscene-ness of my majorly broken out face a refrained from showing and pics with my face in them ;P


Also I has some fun being all artistic last night where I actually sketched something that didn't turn out as total crap! It was Amazing.

In the end I decided it should also be turned into a painting!
The second is my work so far. As soon as I can get a hold of a caligraphy pen I am going to write in red ink a french poem over top of it. Hooray!!























And to end this rather picture-ific post I shall show you the super amazing coffee mug I found the other day at the thrift store!!
